I think you are missing the point on some of Jeff's article. You would never use Scrum of Scrums on a small project, so from that perspective, a ScrumMasters job remains the same.

Agreed, I am not suggesting that you will be using Scrum of Scrums on small projects, but as a Scrum Master currently, you need to be aware of what is comming
